Frequently Asked Questions

Chrome does not allow any extension to take screenshots of its own internal pages (chrome://, chrome-extension://, the Web Store, etc.). This is a browser-level security restriction, not a bug. Navigate to a regular website and try again.
Make sure Full page is selected in the Area option (not Visible). Also confirm the page is fully loaded before capturing. Some pages with infinite scroll or heavy JavaScript may only render a partial result.
Try opening the PDF in a different viewer (Adobe Acrobat, browser built-in). If the page has a dark background with light text, the PDF will reflect that correctly. For best results, use the PNG or JPEG format instead.
Press Alt+Shift+S to capture the full page, or Alt+Shift+V for the visible area only. On macOS, use Ctrl+Shift+S / Ctrl+Shift+V. You can customise shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
No. The extension works entirely on your device. No screenshots, URLs, or personal data are ever sent to any server. Your preferences (format, quality, language) are saved locally using Chrome's built-in storage. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Chrome limits how quickly screenshots can be taken (approximately 2 per second). A page that is 10× the height of your screen will take around 5 seconds minimum. This is a browser restriction and cannot be bypassed. Pages with many lazy-loaded images take additional time while content settles.
